About Budgies

Budgies, short for Budgerigar, are colorful, native birds of Australia’s desert interiors. Being desert birds, they can pass days without water. Gentle, quiet and intelligent…Budgies are wonderful and entertaining pets who bond with all members of the family alike.

Budgies prefer their food raw and have preference for fruits and vegetables though they can eat almost anything that you can eat.

Budgie’s personality traits are as varied as their colors. Some are stubborn and mischievous while others are sweet and sensitive. They are wonderful mimics and coupled with amusing antics, they are unequalled as pets. Well trained Budgies can develop a vocabulary of nearly 300 words and can be delightful companions.
